Taking Advantage of Contact Lists and Signals
It is our mission at DataFox to help eliminate grunt work out of your day-to-day workflow. One way that we've done this is through our lists feature.
We know that creating company lists is extremely useful for segmenting out your prospects, targeting accounts at an upcoming conference, or building information on companies that fit your ICP.
We decided to take this a step further by creating lists specific to contacts and signals. Now you can utilize both of these components of DataFox so that they are actionable.
For example, you can create a list of contacts at companies attending an upcoming conference, or save key signals and events from your list of prospects to use in your outreach at a later date.
Creating a Contact List
You can do this in DataFox from any page that has a Contact Lists Tab - either directly from a company page or your Lists page (not Dynamic Lists, however)
1. In the example below, we will use one of our company searches and click on the "Unlocked Contacts" tab:
2. From there, you can save contacts by adding them to a list or downloading their information. You may also sync their information to Salesforce.
You can also save contacts in bulk by clicking on the checkbox next to their names and clicking on the Add to List (be sure they are unlocked). You can create a new contact List from the selections.
4. You can find your lists by clicking on the Lists tab in DataFox and clicking on Contact Lists.
You'll be able to see your lists, as well as any lists that your team members have shared with you.
From here, you can use your lists as action items. For example, if you make lists of contacts to reach out to, you can mark them as "Completed" when you have done so.
Additionally, you're able to bulk unlock up to 1,000 contacts at a time! Our smart unlock algorithm will look only for contacts that are not currently locked, not just the first 1,000 contacts.
Finally, we now support exporting 15,000 contacts! You can accomplish this by checking the boxes to the left of each contact or selecting all contacts in a list by checking the box to the left of "name", then download.
By keeping your contacts and companies organized, you can easily segment and track your key prospects.
If you have several saved lists, you can locate the Signals tab which provides information about a company - generally with the latest news updates. You can access a signal list directly from a company page, or by finding them from your lists as shown:
