While you can create any list in DataFox and push its name over to Salesforce, it helps to walk through a specific example.
Let’s say you want to run a campaign to target all accounts using a certain technology. You can build a list from it in DataFox, and then push it to your team in Salesforce.
This is an ideal strategy if you partner well with companies using Marketo. You can create a search in DataFox for companies using Marketo, save the search as a Dynamic List, and push the list name to Salesforce to get this information in front of your reps.
We’ll go over our Marketo example again to give you an idea of how to properly push names:
1. To begin, log in to your DataFox instance. Go to the Companies tab.
2. Select “Add a Filter.” Again, we want to add the Market Technographic and HG Data Technographic filter (note: DataFox has technographic information from multiple sources, so you’ll want to apply your technographic in both filters).
3. Once the filters are applied, you’ll want to create a Dynamic List and give it a list name related to the search (e.g. “Marketo”). Once again, note that list names should be clear and short as they are transferred to Salesforce verbatim.
4. With your Dynamic List created, you have the option to turn on List Name Syncing. Turning the option on will push over your list to Salesforce.
Now, on any Account in Salesforce that is on your Synced List, you can see the name of that list from within Salesforce.
Then, your reps can see the list name on an Account record in Salesforce or run a report to get a list of all the companies with that name.
